Use these credentials to authenticate the following nodes with Airtable:

  • Airtable
  • Airtable Trigger

Requirements

  1. Create an Airtable account.

Using API Key for Authentication

To authenticate with Airtable using the API Key, follow these steps:

  1. Visit your Airtable dashboard.
  2. Click on the user icon located at the top right corner and select ‘Account’ from the dropdown menu.
  3. In the API section, click the ‘Generate API key’ button.
  4. Copy the API key that appears on the screen.
  5. In n8n, enter a name for your credentials in the ‘Credentials Name’ field under the ‘Airtable API’ credentials.
  6. Paste the API key into the ‘API Key’ field in the ‘Airtable API’ credentials within n8n.
  7. Click the ‘Create’ button to establish the credentials.
